If you have the hankerin' for some good 'ole delicious BBQ this side of the Red River, well head on over to Prairie House Restaurant, it's worth the drive from anywhere!
After showing some properties to a client on May 9th in Whitesboro, the drive and rainy weather made us hungry, so we decided to stop in at Prairie House Restaurant on our way back to Frisco. One of things that caught our attention was the rustic look of the facility-it's a place that makes you feel at home.
Upon our entry, we were warmly greeted by the hostess and led to our table where we were again greeted by our server; she took the time to explain the menu and when she got done, we felt like sampling everything because it all sounded so good.
I ordered the Ribeye and I will tell you, I was not disappointed at all, it rivaled steaks from some of the areas upscale steak houses; it was very flavorful, cooked just the way I ordered it and it was very tender....a must-try!
Overall, the facility was spacious, clean and comfortable, the service rates an A+ and the food was very delicious, so no matter where you are at in the DFW Metroplex or place east, north, south or west, I urge you to make the drive to Prairie House Restaurant, you will not be disappointed!
